Started in 2018, the Remanufacturing Industries Council has annually celebrated Global Reman Day to educate and promote the substantial positive environmental and economic effects of remanufacturing.

Remanufacturing is the collection of sustainable and value-add processes that take non-functional products and restores them to like-new or better condition. Remanufacturers have collectively kept more than 3.1 million tons of waste out of Earth’s landfills.

A key contributor to the circular economy, the automotive parts remanufacturing industry is a $60.2 billion USD market globally.
